This method is fast and it works, regardless of the version of Windows 10 that you have: use the search box next to the Start button and type winver, and then click on the displayed result.

You can also press the Windows + R keys to display the Execute window.

Type winver and press Enter or click OK.

The “About Windows” window opens, where you can see the version of Windows 10 that you have, followed by information about the compilation of the OS and the edition of Windows 10 that you are using.

Check the version of Windows 10 in the Settings app

This method works in all versions of Windows 10, but things look different depending on the version of Windows 10 you have. First open the Settings app. The fastest way is to press the Windows + I keys. Then open the System category.
